The Hamburg Globe features Columbus Globe’s most technologically advanced physical map, the DUORAMA, which is hand-applied to the 16″ diameter, acrylic ball. The map’s shaded relief reveals an uneven ocean floor where seamounts, fractures and other undersea features can be witnessed in eye-popping detail. Vegetative cover is artfully rendered on the landmasses where the earth’s mountainous nature comes alive as if in three dimensions. Furthermore, illumination discloses a detailed, political map of the world in bright, contrasting colors. The highly detailed Hamburg Globe displays an attractive, brushed stainless steel base and meridian and stands 20″ high.
