When illuminated the internally located light enhances the cartographic features making many of them stand out and easier to read, along with exposing some cartographic features such as old ship routes not seen when illumination is off.
This globe is mounted on a beautiful modern styled single polished metal post stand with hardwood base featuring an inclination mount that will enable you to rotate the globe left or right. Whether identifying places of travel or current events, this globe makes an excellent functional decor piece for any for home, office or library with its clear & easy to read cartography. The cord exits the globe at the base and includes an inline switch to easily turn the globe on and off.
